Gift of Life Donor Program
Throughout 2009 we've been busy with four major projects for the Gift of Life Donor Program, the leading organ donor program in the nation, including: content strategy and site development for their primary website, content strategy and site development for the Gift of Life Family House, a 10-minute HD video retrospective look at the program's history and four video testimonials documenting the struggle that families face when a loved-one awaits an organ transplant.
All of these projects are in the final phase of production at 2009 draws to a close.

Florida's Water: Ours To Protect
At the beginning of the year, we officially launched Florida's Water: Ours to Protect, a massive content development and web site development project for the Water Resources Management Division of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
The project includes GIS map-based resources that help Floridians understand the watersheds they live in and over 60 minutes of original audio-visual storytelling produced by Fusionspark.

Cougar Fund
The Cougar Fund's web presence is a comprehensive online resource about cougar biology, habit and conservation. Fusionspark Media was responsible for integrating existing and new content into a web presence designed to be the "definitive online resource" about the mountain lion.
Similar to the Florida's Water project, the Cougar Fund's site includes a map-based interface so that site visitors can learn about cougar issues and policy in their State.
The Cougar Channel includes films by Tom Mangelsen and Cara Blessley Lowe, as well as original productions by Fusionspark Media.

Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey
Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey turned to Fusionspark for a complete overhaul of its web communications strategy. As we end the year, we've completed the design phase and begin the development phase for launch in early 2010.
CWF's new presence on the web will help them with their mission to protect threatened and endangered species in New Jersey.

Wyeth Insights IQ eLearning Module
Wyeth Pharmaceuticals turned to Fusionspark Media to create an eLearning training module for marketers.
Wyeth was interested in working with Fusionspark Media's visual storytelling approach to help illustrate the conceptual nature of this particular training program. Fusionspark Media was instrumental in developing new visuals to help explain core concepts, in addition to creating new audio-visual case studies and knowledge checks.
The entire project was programmed in Flash for installation on the Wyeth Learning Management System.

Dive Rite Ad Campaign
During 2008, Dive Rite launched a photo contest with Fusionspark Media's input to solicit images from the Dive Rite community of SCUBA divers. Stunning images submitted by participants were integrated into Dive Rite's print advertising campaign produced by Fusionspark Media.
The Dive Rite content strategy developed and implemented during the past couple of years by Fusionspark Media in partnership with Kathleen Byars, Dive Rites VP of Marketing, has resulted in an 80 percent sales conversion rates when visitors click through to online retailers.

Fusionspark Media Branding & Web Presence
We are the "shoemaker's kids" no longer with the creation and launch of our new brand and our own content strategy and web presence.
It's been vital this year to demonstrate that we practice what we preach, in terms of deploying New Media marketing strategies such as Content Marketing. Examples of our own content strategy to become a definitive resource on content marketing include the New Media 2012 event we produced, the Content Marketing Secrets blog series and the initial build out of a Resources section of our site.
Looking ahead, we plan to offer a New Media luminaries audio-interview series (1st interview is in production now), a video series on utilizing TV News feature storytelling techniques in corporate communications, and more.
We're having fun with this, although the work is demanding. But, it's already paying off in the form of new business opportunities, which is what content marketing is all about.

New Media 2012: Or, Where the hell is this all headed, anyway?
In September, we produced New Media 2012, a half day of lightning round presentations by 10 professionals with backgrounds in journalism, entertainment, new media marketing and gaming. This inaugural event of the Langley Center for New Media, sponsored by Whidbey Telecom and the Inn at Langley, drew 120 and was followed by an untold number of virtual attendees following the proceedings via Twitter, and a live video stream.
Videos from the event held in Langley, WA, will published online over the course of the next several months, and can be viewed from this page.
Plans are now underway for a New Media Bootcamp on April 29 and 30, as a follow up to the New Media 2012 event.
