Workshop: Content Strategy for Social Media Success
What's the secret to Social Media success? It's Content Strategy. Content Marketing veterans Joe Pulizzi and Russell Sparkman co-facilitate a dynamic content strategy workshop in which each participant creates a customized content strategy for their product, service or cause.
Joe Pulizzi, author of Get Content, Get Customers, speaking at the Consumer's Media Congress.
Workshop Description
In recent years, Content Strategy has been recognized as a crucial component of social media marketing success. A key premise of Content Strategy is that the marketer or communications professional needs to think and act like a publisher. This approach is also known as Content Marketing.
However, thinking like a publisher does not come naturally to many business owners, corporate marketing executives or communications professionals working at non-profit or government agencies.
This one-of-a-kind workshop is limited to 12 participants so that each participant walks away with a content strategy tailored to achieve specific marketing and communications goals.

During the first hour of the Content Strategy for Social Media Success workshop, participants will be provided with a Content Strategy 101 primer on the core concepts of successful content marketing, i.e. thinking and acting like a publisher. Special emphasis will be given to the important role content strategies play in social media and social networking.
Then, focusing one at a time on each participant, Pulizzi and Sparkman will facilitate a dynamic and interactive group brainstorming session, the end result of which will be a custom content strategy that participants can take home and begin implementing upon immediately.
