Imagine a picturesque seaside community in Puget Sound called Langley;

Imagine, in the heart of Langley, a space where leaders in New Media arts and technology gather with the community to learn, to share, to teach and to create;

Imagine that this space is filled with state-of-the-art technology and is abuzz with activities associated with the production and presentation of New Media events, workshops and exhibits;

Imagine a New Media arts and technology resource and training center that not only caters to off-island professionals seeking adult learning opportunities, but also provides resources and opportunities to South Whidbey’s community, from youth to business owners;

Imagine that this space becomes the hub of a New Media-based business and social network on South Whidbey that not only supports existing businesses, but incubates new tech-related businesses on South Whidbey;

Imagine that this space offers a year around schedule of multimedia arts and technology presentations, speakers, conferences, seminars and workshops that attracts off-island visitors for multi-night stays in our hotels, who eat in our restaurants and shop in our stores, during the shoulder and off-seasons;

Imagine a space where home-based workers and consultants can "cowork" and network in a quiet, living-room like setting;

If you can imagine all of the above, then you have imagined the Langley Center for New Media.
